Many families need a receipt from Outschool for public funding program reimbursement or personal records. There are two ways to get one: you can generate a receipt yourself, or request one from our team.
Generate a receipt yourself
If you paid for your classes directly at checkout, you can generate a receipt from your Transactions page. This option works for personal records and for public funding programs that accept a standard receipt.
Important Note: If you paid for classes using membership credits, you cannot generate a receipt yourself (see below for more detail).
A standard receipt includes: parent name, learner name, provider name, type of service, dates of service, class name, teacher name, class duration, payment method, date paid, subscription week, and total price.
To download a standard receipt:
Go to your parent dashboard and click on your learner’s profile/name.
Click on the Transactions tabs and scroll down
Click on the Receipts button under "Transactions for”
Select a date range for the receipt: Start date and End date
make sure that the selected date range includes the class purchase dates, otherwise no transactions will appear
Click the Find matching transactions button.
Enter your learner’s full legal name.
Click the Generate my receipt button.
Download the receipt for the matching transactions (PDF).
Request a receipt from Outschool
If your classes were paid using Outschool membership credits, or if your public funding program requires details not included on a standard receipt, our team will need to generate a custom receipt for you. To request a custom receipt, contact Outschool Support
Please note that custom receipts can take up to 10 business days.
