Parents can manage learner-specific settings and preferences from the umbrella parent account.
Accessing learner settings
From the Outschool parent account, parents can access learner settings for all of their learners.
To view or update learner settings:
Go to the Settings page.
Select Account & Profile.
Select Learner Account Settings.
Select View Learner Profiles.
Note: A valid email address in learner settings is required for learners to receive email notifications about @-mentions in the Outschool classroom.
Learner profile details
From parent account settings, parents can manage learner profile details such as name, preferred pronouns, schooling approach, interests, class setup, schedule, learning needs, and birthday. Once saved, the birth month and year cannot be edited in account settings. If the birthdate was entered incorrectly, please contact Outschool Support for assistance.

Learners can also make updates to their own profile (ex. avatar) from the Learner Space. Learn more.
The public information included in a learner’s settings is shown to teachers in their view of enrolled learners, along with any previous classes the learner has taken with them.
