Learning Experience Pledge
At Outschool, our goal is to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their learning experience. To support this commitment, we offer the Learning Experience Pledge, which provides an option for families to receive an Outschool voucher under certain conditions that fall outside our Class Cancellation Policy. The Learning Experience Pledge is subject to Outschool’s Terms of Service.
Eligibility:
If you attend a class and discover it's not the right fit for your learner, you may be eligible for an Outschool voucher. Here’s how you can qualify:
Notification Requirement: You must contact Outschool support within one week of attending your first live class or accessing self-paced content.
Eligibility: You may request a voucher if you are dissatisfied with your class experience. This may include but is not limited to, scenarios such as:
I expected my learner to enjoy a live group class, but tutoring would better match their learning style.
While the instructor was enthusiastic, I found the teaching style too fast-paced for my child’s preferred learning speed.
I registered for an Algebra 1 class, but the content covered more introductory-level skills than I expected, which my learner has already mastered.
My child had an engaging class, but there were some disruptions from other learners that affected their overall experience.
Voucher Value: You will receive an Outschool voucher equivalent to the dollar amount of your original enrollment (e.g. the full value of the class).
Expiration of Vouchers: The voucher will expire after 90 days from the date of issuance. You can review your voucher, along with the date of expiration, on your account transactions page.
Additional Conditions and Restrictions:
A Learning Experience Pledge voucher is available to all U.S. customers in good standing who comply with our Terms of Service and other applicable policies.
The Learning Experience Pledge excludes classes paid or reimbursed via public funding sources (e.g. ESA, Microgrant, or Charter funds). In the event public funding sources were used, the refund will be issued to the method of payment the public funding entity used at the time of purchase.
In the event membership credits are used, they will be returned to the membership credit balance rather than issued as a voucher. Returned credits are subject to rollover maximums and remain available only while the membership is active. See Membership Terms for additional details.
The Learning Experience Pledge can be utilized up to three (3) times per calendar year by a Parent.
Chat Groups are excluded from The Learning Experience Pledge.
Outschool vouchers will be void where prohibited by law. Outschool vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
