Great images will make your classes more successful. Your profile photo is featured on all your class listings. Class images represent the class throughout the site and when the class is shared on social media. Here are some tips.
Class Images
To update your class images, go to the Image and Video section on the class Edit tab.
Image Content
Choose an image that is visually compelling and relevant to the class topic.
If the image includes significant amounts of text, it may receive less promotion.
Your image should generally be ‘family-friendly’ and appropriate for children.
Your image should not depict violence, nudity, or symbols of hate or otherwise violate our class content policy.
Illustration Format
Using the photo picker widget, you can search for and select a photo online or upload an image from your computer.
We ask you to crop your image to a widescreen aspect ratio (1.9:1) - you do this from within the photo picker widget.
Your image must be at least 600 pixels wide.
For chat groups, images in new posts are cropped to a 4:3 aspect ratio when uploaded.
Marketing Images
Showcase your classes effectively in Outschool ads with a visually appealing image.
Upload a square image under the Marketing Image section on the class Edit tab.
The image should be at least 1080 x 1080 pixels.
If a Marketing Image is not uploaded, the class Cover Image will be used in advertisements instead. This could result in a portion of the class image being cut off in ads.
Profile Images
Choose a professional-looking photo - eg, no beach or pool shots.
Show a clear image of your face.
Smile 😀
