Outschool offers the option to pay for classes priced at $50 USD or above with Klarna. Klarna allows you to shop now and pay later, breaking up larger purchases into four easy payments, paid every two weeks, without any interest. This article will detail using Klarna to pay for classes.

What is Klarna?

Klarna is a third-party payment tool integrated into Outschool to offer payment plans to our learner families. Using this payment method allows families to break up higher class fees into smaller biweekly payments. Klarna has its own terms and conditions that you should review before using their service to take advantage of this offer.

How it works

For all eligible purchases, you can select Klarna as your form of payment after clicking Enroll from a class listing.

When you click Pay, you’ll be sent to the Klarna website to complete your purchase. If it’s your first time using Klarna, you’ll need to create an account there, and use a debit or credit card to complete the payment. If you’re a returning Klarna customer, you can log into your account directly to purchase and confirm.

Before paying, you’ll see the cost of your initial down payment (paid upon enrollment), and a payment schedule for the next six weeks. Every two weeks, the remaining three payments will be deducted from your Klarna account to the associated credit or debit card. After completing the first payment, you can log into your Klarna account anytime to view your purchase and make a manual payment.

Refunds to purchases made with Klarna will follow Outschool’s standard refund policies. When Outschool issues you a refund for a purchase made with Klarna, the refunded amount will apply to your Klarna account balance. Please read more about Klarna refunds in their help center.

To use Klarna, you must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your state of residence). Klarna is not available for non-U.S. customers, and can only be used by customers with a U.S. billing address, U.S. shipping address, a U.S. Visa or Mastercard or American Express, and a US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers cannot use Klarna.

You will only see the option to use Klarna to complete a purchase for classes that cost at least $50 USD and are below $2,000 USD. Klarna is not available for gift cards, Groups, or Ongoing Class purchases. Outschool reserves the right to change the eligibility of classes for this option.

Additional eligibility terms may apply. See the Klarna website for more details.
